Characteristics
Development of a new police station within Part-Dieu Shopping Centre. Creation and fitout of a customer services area.

Commercial real-estate company Unibail-Rodamco has rolled out a major programme of works to regenerate the shopping centre. It has commissioned the agency with several interior design and space planning assignments relating to a new “Click & Collect” and customer services area and refurbishment of the police station.

Development of a new police station within Part-Dieu shopping centre. This entailed factoring in a number of specific issues (including security for the holding cells) relating to the severe constraints of available space and of access to and connections with the shopping centre itself.

Creation and fitout of a customer services area (parcel pick-up and drop-off, personal shopper service, barber, hairdresser, dry cleaning, etc.) within Part-Dieu shopping centre. Assistance to the Owner with programme definition. Design of the shell and some of the furniture. Challenge of the project: creating a well-lit and attractive space in a part of the centre that is little used at present.
